I work with adults who have uncontrolled eating episodes, teenagers with body image issues, and men and women with high lipid and blood glucose profiles. A lifelong interest has been the psychology of trauma and addictions; a newer one is nutrition for anxiety and depression.
After a satisfying career as a classical pianist, I moved with my family to an organic farm in central Pennsylvania. While I had always been passionate about food, this lifestyle change gave me the opportunity to feel the difference that quality air, water, and foods make to one's well-being. I had the pleasure of advising our vegetable customers on ways to cook the produce, and then wanted to learn the nutritional sciences to be able to explain the effects of certain choices over others. It gives me great pleasure to empower fellow humans to take charge of their health.
Please contact me for information on Mindful Nourishing and Stress Reduction Workshops, or cooking demonstrations at your facility.

My Intentions
For the immediate future, my professional goals are simple: I plan to become a board certified nutrition specialist (CNS) and a licensed dietitian-nutritionist (LDN) in Pennsylvania. I want to inspire my clients to eat what their bodies thrive on, and to know without a doubt that I have made a positive impact across many aspects of their lives. I support wellness and positive thinking by providing an understanding of physiology, nutrients, and how our environment affects our state of being.
As for who my clients are and in what setting we meet, I am open to many possibilities, having worked with employees of the Federal Reserve Bank as well as residents of a correctional facility, and having taught piano or performed with musicians ages 4 through 91.
